The Coop Bakery Wallisellen belongs to the reputable second-largest retailer in Switzerland - Coop. At the site in Wallisellen a staff of about 400 work in three shifts to produce baked goods. Four production lines are employed to generate a daily output of 80 tons. The bakery products are sold exclusively to Coop customers through a network of Coop chain stores.
The Coop group consists of five sales regions with more than 1,700 sub­sidiaries and employs a staff of more than 48,000. Coop is market leader for organic and Fairtrade products.
