At the moment we are looking for an international operating:

Our Service Center currently has two job openings for Field Service Technicians. One to be home based in the North Central US (IL, OH, MN area). The other will be based out of our national corporate office in Snellville, GA.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing technical phone support to customers of installed systems.
  • Will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and debug electro/mechanical equipment, and computer systems. Candidate should be capable of reading electrical schematics.
  • Report design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to technical support.
  • Work on complex problems where analysis of data requires an evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
  • Work with customer technicians who may, in some cases, respond for first line maintenance items.
  • Assume responsibility for continued customer satisfaction, and coordinate all activities with the customer.
  • Report activities, maintain local spare parts inventory, recording travel expenses and time card, submit Request for Engineering Action (REA), and implement Field Service.


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a field service engineer in electro/mechanical equipment or related equipment with IPC interface such as the packaging industry. Knowledge of IPC serial and Ethernet communication, I/O Interface, Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Must be able to work in extreme environments and lift heavy objects.
  • Good customer skills and the ability to work under pressure are required.
  • Must be self-starter, work well without supervision, and accept responsibility.
  • Requires both domestic and some international travel.
  • You must be 18 years or older.
  • You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
  • You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • You must be willing to work out of an office in Atlanta, GA
  • Travel extensively
