A Nelson & Co Ltd. who manufacture natural healthcare remedies, have experienced an increase in production demands, therefore a solution was required for an automatic process for precise weighing and the collating of production data. The other concern for Nelsons to overcome was the handling of RESCUE Remedy™ (cylindrical product). As products are being transported along the production line on fast moving conveyors, the stability of the product can be affected, causing poor product handling and movement as the products are weighed, making results unreliable.
The selected system is provided by OCS Checkweighers Ltd., who have an approved solution from their HC product range; the HC-IS is specifically designed for handling cylindrical products and obtaining the most accurate results possible.
