ocs pfeilSales Manager Pharmaceuticals (m/f)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct own sales for Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Chemical and Aerosol industry by managing the business in such a way that it meets budgeted goals and stated objectives.
  • Showing and demonstrating an organized structured framework which is consistent with the established objectives of teamwork, continuous improved processes, strong employee communications and involvement, and excellence in service to our customer base.
  • Assume fiscal responsibility and implement financial controls necessary to meet budgeted cost in regards of your day to day work.
  • Create a positive corporate image through suitable public relation strategies, in line with the corporate identity and design guidelines.
  • Manage all aspects of sales within agreed guidelines and existing corporate policies.
  • Participate personally and in a hand-on manner in the sales of products.
  • Manage, create and motivate different distribution channels.
  • Identify new business opportunities and provide proposals on how to develop them.
  • Provide hands-on leadership in all areas of sales, service and training to maximize on business opportunities.
  • Help clients analyse their needs and provide advice on how OCS equipment can provide solutions. Involve the parent company when required.
  • Continuously provide information on the competition and about their approach to the market place.
  • Openly and constructively exchange and communicate about the needs of the UK market.

Qualifications:

  • No less than 5 years of experience in Sales with budget responsibility, in a capital goods company.
  • Knowledge of the packaging or process industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Proven record of strong revenue growth and improvement of operating margins.
  • Success in relationship building with end-users as well as distribution channels.
  • Experience in international trade including business travel to Europe or other parts of the world.
  • Willingness to travel in excess of seventy percent of the time ( Great Britain ).
  • Provide evidence of a proven track record.
  • A strong preference for German language skills is desired but not mandatory.
  • A strong affinity to the technology and technical solutions serving customers application needs. You must be able to read and understand User Requirement Specifications in order to comment them.
  • University/college degree – strong preference for a science degree.

ocs_pfeil Service Technician

You will install our machines and solutions for dynamic checkweighing and catchweighing, Xray scanning and Track & Trace across the UK and Ireland. This includes the final configuration on side as well as the related testing and process optimization during he start up of the production process. Furthermore, you will support the preparation and verification of our systems in compliance with the MID regulation, carry out preventive maintenance and repair or modify existing machines and systems on customers request. You will work with customer technicians who may, in some cases, respond for first line maintenance items and assume responsibility for continued customer satisfaction, and coordinate all activities with the customer.

Due to the nature of this job, you will be required for extensively travel and accept to be available for on call duties.

The Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a field service engineer in electro/mechanical equipment or related equipment with IPC interface such as the packaging industry. Knowledge of IPC serial and Ethernet communication, I/O Interface, Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Must be able to work in extreme environments and lift heavy objects
  • Good customer skills and the ability to work under pressure are required
  • Must be self-starter, work well without supervision, and accept responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure and to keep the situation under control (mentally and technically)
  • Continuously strive to improve product knowledge and understanding of technology
  • Display a professional attitude and a commitment to the organization and customer satisfaction
